32-Hour Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Training

This four-day training is designed for advocates who work directly with sexual assault survivors in any capacity. The training covers both introductory and advanced topics to provide a foundation for best practices for advocates in the field of sexual assault services. There is no cost; however, member rape crisis centers and staff receive priority registration. Training topics include: overview of sexual assault, role of the advocate and survivor centered responses, understanding sexual assault and trauma, technology and stalking, reproductive coercion, working with underserved populations, and other special topics.
