This Simulation Training course is designed to enhance the nurse’s ability to respond to the acute needs of adult/adolescent victims of sexual assault, provide a comprehensive medical- forensic examination through a mixed modality of classroom training and skills performance on live teaching models. This is a collaboration with the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
Advanced Registration is required, and student MUST attend both days. This training has been approved for 16.0 nursing continuing education contact hours through the International Association of Forensic Nurses who is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
