This training is part of a four part Lunch and Learn series for Money Matters. The Money Matters project focuses on the financial impact that sexual assault has on survivor's financial health, and aims to increase the financial stability and security of sexual assault survivors to support their recovery and prevent future violence. This is achieved, in part, by examining legal remedies available to support survivors' economic empowerment.
Money Matters: Family Law, Protective Orders, and Personal Property will discuss available remedies in family law and protective order proceedings, compare and contrast use and possession issues in family law and protective order proceedings, and address remedies for personal property within Maryland law. This training is intended for advocates who work with survivors and attorneys in practice areas other than family law.
